Be Like The Sun, Not The Moon
As the Sun shines, the Moon appears.
Its brightness may suggest it is the source of light,
But the Moon’s glow is only a reflection.
The thoughts that define and limit our beingness —
As if we were a personal, separate self — are like the Moon,
Claiming to be the Sun.
They arise within the light of beingness.
They suggest they are its source —
But they are only appearances of beingness,
Not its origin.
For it is beingness that shines the light of awareness on thought.
We have never experienced a thought being aware of another thought.
It is always we who are aware.
Therefore, we must be the source of beingness as well.
There can be no awareness without beingness.
And as we become aware of being aware,
We Come to know our beingness directly.
When this is seen, it becomes clear:
All that appears is beingness too.
All that we can know of anything that appears
Is the same beingness expressing itself.
Beingness is what we are —
Appearing as a multitude of forms,
Impersonal, boundaryless,
Whole.
And when we know ourselves as this —
Beingness is love.
As loving beingness, it becomes obvious:
There is no need to follow thoughts that claim
Beingness is limited, divided, or owned.
Freed from such thoughts,
Loving beingness moves through this body
To live a life that shines with its own indestructible wholeness.
Each moment brings a felt sense of psychological safety —
The deep knowing:
I am loving beingness, no matter what.
And from this knowing, life flows of its own accord —
No longer burdened by the desperate agenda
Of thoughts born from lack.
The clouds of fearful confusion, once dense,
Now disperse.
And even those that linger
No longer have the power
To obscure the light of loving beingness.
With Love,
Freyja
