Hiding In Plain Sight
There is something you are experiencing right now that, once you find it, will cause you to feel very happy, safe, and vibrant indeed. Although you cannot see it or name it, it is there. Once you have found it, your whole perception of what is happening in this moment will change.
Instead of viewing yourself in a material world full of objects and living beings and trying to relate to these and organise them for your survival, you will feel that the whole universe and everything that appears in whatever form is a form of you. It will look beautiful and miraculous, and you will feel an intimate love for it. You will say goodbye in an instant to comparing yourself to others, feeling that you are inadequate, or that there is anything wrong with you. The effort of thinking you must do something to be happy or be someone to be successful will vanish.
You will see that the universe is a beautiful flow of events that are all part of you, supporting your body, and your body’s needs will be met. You will feel safe to the core, beyond even the experience of the body falling ill and even dying. You will trust the wisdom and love of the universal flow to guide your body, and you will recognise thoughts you have that are inspired by this fearless flow. You will feel indestructibly whole and feel like you are shining like the Sun.
All this is available in your experience right now, hiding in plain sight. You don’t have to do anything other than open your mind to the possibility of this experience being present and understand it is the most ordinary of ordinary experiences you will ever have. Stop searching for something special. It is this very habit of seeking the extraordinary that stops you from seeing what is plainly in your experience.
Once you recognise it, you will recognise the miracle that this is what you are. It is not something else you have to attain, be, or practice. It is your very being. It is free of all superficial identification of being a separate character, all the foibles, identities, genders, and creeds. In fact, you will forget the whole project of pretending to be a person and all the petty egoic problems this causes. The self-recrimination, the comparison, the fight and flight and freeze will stop. You will discover you are the universal source of all things, and your mind, not having any evidence to the contrary, will go quiet and become your servant. You will be free to attend to what you desire to attend to and have deep gratitude for seeing that this universe of forms we perceive is the protective cloak that always comes to you.
Love,
Freyja
