The Ceremony Of Morning
Morning Ceremony
Each morning, as the mind, body, and world awaken, we can take our stand, understanding we are the undefinable aware reality that is indestructibly whole and safe, and welcome all experiences of body, mind, and world, recognising all as appearances of our nature and not separate. From here, we can allow the perfume of our inner peace to permeate our hearts, and our thoughts can quieten as we rest in this. Our thoughts that sometimes may be neurotic go quiet, and fear or lack dissolves, as if the children of the mind and body are resting in the security of their parental love and releasing any tension and surrendering all fear.
We can be in our heart and feel the loving wholeness of that. From here, we can see what arises of practical and enthusiastic golden visions of activities of love, understanding, and beauty to nurture the mind, body, and world and share our enthusiastic heart with it. We can feel as fresh and as alive as if, for the first time, liberated from the baggage of personal remorseful memories, fear, and lack weighing us down. Each morning, in this regard, is like a sacred ceremony returning to our source and from here shining our light.
As grand as this may sound, it is, in essence, the simplest and most basic of silent inner ceremonies, where the peace of our being is the heart mantra and the universe is the mandala that focuses and reflects our light. Each of our minds can create their own particular version of this ceremony, not having to follow any pre-determined religious formula. Perhaps not even labelling it as a ceremony as formally as that, but just a natural process. Whatever the case, from here, all living beings are the sangha. Whatever they may consider to be the agenda for living, we can know there is nothing other than the causeless love of simply being this that is the true nature of all minds and is its own reward and this is just naturally being.
Love,
Freyja
