Perhaps
It seems to be the case that many minds report a glimpse of blissful selflessness, but then the person returns, appearing as familiar patterns of reacting, resisting and seeking again. Perhaps there is a period where the blissful state, when the person was absent, seems to matter and is grasped by the seeking mind, as if this state were the true reality, and is sought as a way out of the fear appearing.
Perhaps there is a period where it seems there is something that can be done, and there is a grasping for tools and the best teachers of awakening, watching videos, attending satsang, disciplining the body and mind, practising, inquiring, chanting, dancing, all of which seem to matter, in an attempt to regain what feels lost. Perhaps there is a period where it seems there is a hierarchy between the authority of the awakened and the ignorance of the unawakened, and that enlightenment is an event to be achieved, and there is a constant battle of doubt.
Perhaps there seems to be a period of “me-ing” and “be-ing”, until the obviousness that this fear too is simply another appearance of no-thing no-thinging is self-evident, not an indication of a personal centre. Perhaps there is a point where the dream of separation seems no longer relevant at all and may be described as having “fallen away”, though paradoxically it was never there. Perhaps there is period when what seemed important before, seems no longer important now and a slight feeling of being a lost soul takes over.
In all cases, it is simply an inseparable and inclusive appearance of no-thing no-thinging, freely and wildly appearing in a multitude of forms, without judgement, with nothing wrong and nothing out of place.
With love,
Freyja

On the last Wednesday of each month throughout this year, I’m offering group dialogue sessions.
These meetings are a space for open questions and shared dialogue around the simple message of nonduality — with nothing to practise, apply, or achieve for the seeker but the simple uncompromising pointing to what is already self-evident but sometimes overlooked.
All are welcome. The sessions are freely offered, with donations welcome.

Please note: Nonduality is not psychotherapy and is not concerned with resolving psychological distress. If there appear to be ongoing or chronic patterns of suffering, speaking with a suitably qualified health professional may be appropriate.

Yes…the journey to where we start!
