Separateness Becomes Less Consequential
As what is naturally appearing is self-evidently all that there is, complete and whole as itself, without the need for any additional story about what it is, even the thoughts and felt sense of being a located thing in a body called “me”, separate from the world of things around it, become inconsequential. It is self-evidently obvious that they too are simply appearances within the wholeness of what is appearing, and not, as they seem to point towards, something separate from it.
It becomes equally self-evident that such separateness was always an illusory story—an interpretation about what was appearing—but never actually what was appearing.
Free of this psychological, existential sense of lack and fearful gripping, the love, beauty and wisdom of what appears shine naturally, as though a cloud has passed from before the sun. Or perhaps, more fittingly, the cloud has simply become so translucent that it has lost any power to obscure what was always shining.
The mind and body continue, now clearly as a character appearing within the play of daily life—an appearance of what is always, and already, whole.
What could be a more natural way for wholeness to be self-evident than the simple wholeness of what is naturally appearing, exactly as it is, all the time?
If this message resonates with you, I am delighted to be organising my first in-person gathering here in the beautiful mountains of northern Portugal. It is an opportunity to come together in friendship and dialogue, and to celebrate the wholeness of what is naturally appearing.

Everyone is warmly welcome, whether this is entirely new to you or something you have been exploring for many years. Join The Monthly Dialogue
Open questions, shared exploration, and dialogue around non-duality, wholeness, separateness, and the lived experience of being human.
These meetings begin from the possibility that all who appear are already appearances of the same inseparable wholeness. There are no teachers and no teachings in the conventional sense, but a shared exploration of wholeness, separateness, and the lived experience of being human.
Wholeness here is understood in terms of the inseparability of what is already appearing, complete as it is. Different traditions may describe this through the language of awareness, consciousness, being, Buddha nature, the divine, life itself, or countless other names. Equally, no description need be preferred. The openness of not-knowing remains central.
The meetings are not offered as a path, method, or programme of development, but as an open space for dialogue, inquiry, reflection, and silence. Human life in all its richness and complexity is fully embraced, including relationship, creativity, work, uncertainty, emotional life, neurodiversity, practical living, and the ordinary challenges and joys of being human.
The dialogues take place online on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm UK time. Attendance is free and all are welcome. Whilst there is no charge to participate, donations are always appreciated and help support the continuation of the meetings and the wider work.

Continue The Conversation
Reflective one-to-one conversations for co-celebrants.
If questions relating to identity, separateness, wholeness, meaning, practical living, psychological wellbeing, or the nature of experience itself are alive for you, you may also be interested in Reflective Conversations for Co-Celebrants.
These conversations offer a spacious and reflective environment within which life may be explored through dialogue, inquiry, and the shared language of the Universal Family. They begin from the possibility that nothing is fundamentally missing whilst remaining fully open to the realities of ordinary human life, including relationship, livelihood, creativity, trauma, neurodiversity, uncertainty, emotional life, and the practical challenges and opportunities that appear within daily living.

A Gentle Note
Nothing shared here is intended as psychotherapy, medical advice, or a substitute for appropriate professional support.
At times, questions relating to identity, separateness, meaning, wholeness, or the nature of experience can feel challenging, destabilising, or emotionally significant. Familiar assumptions and reference points may occasionally be questioned or seem less certain than before. This is not unusual.
Equally, psychological distress, trauma, neurological sensitivity, relationship difficulties, health concerns, grief, loss, or practical life circumstances may require care, understanding, and appropriate support. The exploration of wholeness does not place such matters outside the conversation, nor does it remove the value of seeking appropriate forms of help when they are needed.
If such exploration feels overwhelming or ongoing, it may be helpful to pause and seek support from trusted friends, appropriate professionals, or other sources of care.
Please take care of your wellbeing.
Above all, be gentle with yourself.
